Baby Shower BBQ

So I have been obsessed with baby showers lately. Why? I want a baby of course!!! I love this idea of a co-ed baby BBQ

Invitations

Attach a pink or blue bubble gum cigar to an invitation that says:
"Holy Smokes! (Daddy's name) and (Mommy's name) are having a baby! You are invited to a barbecue baby celebration in their honor. Come for a smoking good time!"

Include with the invitation a recipe card and instructions for the guests to give their favorite barbecue recipe for the dad to beef up his grilling recipes. He might need it for survival!!

Remember this is a co-ed baby shower. Try not to use the word "shower". You don't wont the men to freak out and only think there will be a bunch of women talking about birthing experiences. It's a Celebration....with beer!! That should bring them in.

Decoration

Country decorations work well for this type of baby shower theme. Hay bales, saddles, and cowboy hats can liven up a yard quickly. You can use a baby bathtub, giant plastic cowboy hat or aluminum tub to put the drinks and ice in.

A display of hay bales in the front yard with a cute sign directing guests to the back yard can also be a nice touch.

If you don't have enough sitting area, make a hay couch

Love this! Cute brunch table setting. You can also use hay as the table.

Gift Table

With it being a barbecue baby shower theme, use hay bales with a red and white checkerboard tablecloth over it. Add a saddle for a more pulled together look.

Favors

Barbecue sauce or a bottle of hot sauce with a note personal note.

Baby's name temper tantrum hot sauce. Cute!

Food

Typical barbecue food will do for this theme. Guys can huddle around the grill shooting the breeze while the women do whatever you plan on doing.
Serve the food buffet style and make sure there is plenty of seating places to accommodate your guests.

Add a brown paper bag around cups to give a redneck feel
